Kurbatova Punches Ticket to NCAAs

Diver Alisa Kurbatova qualified for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships with a third-place finish in the one-meter springboard.
Kurbatova scored 575.25 points Thursday at the NCAA Diving Zones on the campus of Rutgers University. The sophomore followed that performance with a seventh-place finish in the three-meter (538.00) and eighth on the platform (409.60).
Freshmen Kara Koszowski and Eric Sachs also qualified for zones and placed tenth (380.15) and ninth (461.25), respectively.
