The Maryland track and field team split the squad Saturday with the women posting a fourth-place finish at the NYRR Saturday Night at the Armory II and the men claiming a pair of individual titles at the non-scored Wesley Brown Invitational.

Freshman Amina Smith won the high jump with a clearance of 5 feet 10 inches, earning 10 of the Terps 76.5 points at the New York City event. Smith equaled her season best with the IC4A/ECAC Indoor-qualifying effort.

Cornell won the team title with 159.5 points, followed by Princeton (149) and Villanova (134).

D'Ambour Lewis finished second in the 60-meter dash (7.60), an IC4A/ECAC Indoor qualifying mark, but off her season best (7.59). DeAnna Brown was second in the 200 with a qualifying mark of 24.78.

The men got win's from Dwight Barbiasz in the high jump and Greg Kelsey in the 5000 meters, with each setting facility marks at Navy's Wesley A. Brown Field House.

Barbiaz cleared 7 feet 2 1/4 inches, while Kelsey posted a mark of 14:19.70 at the 16-event meet.

All-American Kiani Profit also punched her ticket for NCAA Indoor Championships.

Profit won the pentathlon and earned an automatic-qualifying mark for the NCAA meet on Friday at the Penn State National Invitational. She scored 4,109 points in the five events to win the competition. Profit, who finished second in the nation in the pentathlon at last year's NCAA Indoor meet, bested the auto-qualifying mark of 4,075 points.
