Tipping Off: Maryland improved to 16-8 ... the Terps have won five of their last six games ... Maryland leads the all-time series with Longwood, 2-0 ... the Terps, which never trailed, started the game on an 11-0 run and led 50-22 at halftime ... Maryland is 8-0 when scoring 80 points or more and reached 100 points for the second time this season (also vs. Seattle 11/8/10) ... the 54-point margin of victory ranks 13th in school history and the biggest spread since a 62-point win (117-55) vs. Chicago State (12-27-00).

Williams Passes Wooden: Gary Williams earned the 665th victory of his career, moving him past legendary UCLA coach John Wooden (Indiana State `47-48, UCLA `49-75) for 22nd on the Division I list.

Starting Lineup: Maryland used a starting lineup of guards Adrian Bowie, Sean Mosley and Pe'Shon Howard, along with forward Dino Gregory and center Jordan Williams. It's the fourth time this season the team has gone with that lineup, with the Terps holding a 4-0 record.

New High: A game after scoring a season-high nine points in 17 minutes, Haukur Palsson set a new season high with 13 points. The freshman had 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting (2 of 2 3PT) in 10 minutes of action in the first half alone. He also dished out a season-high four assists in the game.

Gregory Posts Double-Double: Senior forward Dino Gregory posted his second double-double this season (also vs. Illinois) with 14 points (tied career high) and 11 rebounds (career high). He didn't miss a shot all night, going 4 of 4 from the field and 6 of 6 from the line.

More From Mosley: Sean Mosley had his first 20-point game since the season-opener vs. Seattle, hitting 8 of 12 shots, including 3 of 3 from the line. Mosley also added five rebounds, three steals and two assists without a turnover.

Getting Everyone Involved: Eleven Maryland players scored in the game, including eight by halftime. Six players scored in double figures for the first time since the NJIT game (12/22/10).

Long-Range Shooting: Maryland set season highs in 3-pointers made (10) and attempted (28). It was the most 3PT attempts by Maryland since it took 30 against 2/21/09 vs. UNC (OT). It was the first time the Terps made 10 3-pointers since they did it against UNC on 2/7/10.

A Helping Hand: The Terps, the league leaders at 16.9 per game, had 28 assists on 39 field goals. The assist total was the most for Maryland this season.

Tidbits: Adrian Bowie scored in double figures for the eighth time in the last nine games, and also added six assists ... Maryland, the third-leading rebounding team in the ACC (+4.5 per game) held a 55-28 edge on the glass, its biggest margin of the season ... the Terps had two players finish with double-figure rebounds for the second time this season (also vs. Illinois) ... Terrell Stoglin had 15 points and four assists ... Pe'Shon Howard has 18 assists and just three turnovers in the last three games ... Maryland shot 65.6 percent from the field in the second half ... Maryland's bench outscored Longwood's 42-6 and the Terrapins are 14-4 when their reserves outplay the opponents.
