HANNOVER, Germany - Jen Cook and Kelly McPartland helped guide the U.S. to the U-19 FIL World Cup title Saturday as the squad dropped rival Australia, 14-11, in the championship match.
Cook tallied two goals and McPartland added one to lead the U.S. to its fourth consecutive title.
The U.S. pummeled England, 19-5, in the semifinals to land in Saturday's championship contest. Cook added another goal in that match. The incoming Terp duo helped hold England to its lowest scoring output of the tournament, matching the five-goal game against the U.S. in the round robin round.
