COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Freshman Stephanie Giameo earned East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Rookie of the Week honors for her performance on vault, beam and floor, Friday night in the Terps victories against Alaska and Bridgeport the league announced today.

Giameo placed first on beam with a 9.750 for her first career individual title. The Roselle Park, N.J., native scored a career-high 9.800 on floor and tied a career high with a 9.650 on vault.

The No. 24 Terps hit the road this weekend to take on top-ranked Arkansas and eighth-ranked Florida in Gainesville, Fla., Friday at 7 p.m.
