Mosley Closes On Mark: Senior guard Sean Mosley scored 11 points and is now just one point shy of becoming the 50th Terrapin to reach 1,000 points in his career. When that happens, he will also become just the eighth Terrapin in Maryland history to have 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 200 assists and 120 steals in his career. The others are Juan Dixon, Greivis Vasquez, Keith Booth, Johnny Rhodes, Ernie Graham, Nik Caner-Medley and Laron Profit.
Balanced Scoring Effort: Maryland had a balanced scoring effort, with four players finishing in double figures: Terrell Stoglin (20), Alex Len (11), Sean Mosley (11) and Nick Faust (11). Additionally, James Padgett chipped in nine and Pe'Shon Howard had eight.
Stoglin Gets 20: Terrell Stoglin led Maryland with 20 points on 8-of-21 shooting, marking the 16th time this season he has reached the 20-point plateau. Maryland is 10-6 when Stoglin scores 20 or more points. He also chipped in a career-high six rebounds and matched a season high with four assists (also against Cornell and Florida State).
Len Strong Again: Freshman Alex Len notched his second consecutive game with double-digit points, finishing with 12. That's the most points Len has scored in a conference game and three shy of his season best. Len also had a team-high nine rebounds, and, after entering the game third in the ACC in conference game with a 2.3 blocks-per-game average, he had four for the second straight game.
