With Reed moving into the starting rotation, Korey Wacker has reprised his 2011 role as a two-way player. Wacker has started the last 14 games in center field, is hitting .276 and has a team-high 12 stolen bases. He's also taken over as the closer and on the season has a 4-0 record with a 1.86 ERA.
K.J. Hockaday and Jordan Hagel continue to carry the load offensively, while Tomo Delp has come on strong after being inserted into the starting lineup three weeks ago.
