
Trio of Terps to Compete with Team USA

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Assistant coach Caitlyn McFadden will join current Terps Katie Schwarzmann and Kelly McPartland on the U.S. women's national team at the 2013 Champion Challenge this weekend.
Schwarzmann and McPartland are entering their senior and sophomore campaigns, respectively, at Maryland in 2013. McPartland is the youngest player on the U.S. roster while Schwarzmann is in her fourth season with Team USA.
McFadden has been a part of the national team since 2008, helping guide the U.S. to a gold medal at the 2009 FIL World Cup.
Champion Challenge, annually presented by US Lacrosse, is back for an eighth consecutive year at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
The U.S. men will face 2012 NCAA champion Loyola as well as national semifinalist Notre Dame, while the U.S. women take on defending NCAA champion Northwestern and national runner-up Syracuse.
