year in a pinch hitting role against NC State, grounding out with two on and two out in the
bottom of the ninth (April 16) ... pinch hit for Jason Von Behren against George Washington,
grounding out to second (May 3) ... made his first career appearance as a pitcher against Coppin St., coming on to get the final out of the game and seal the victory (May 11).
As a Redshirt Freshman (2005): Saw action in three games, hitting .400 for the season ... led the team with two pinch hits (in four at-bats) ... had his first career at-bat in the team's win over Coppin State (Apr. 19) ... hit a ninth-inning single up the middle and scored a run in the second game of the Miami series (Apr. 30) ... hit his first career home run in his first at-bat against Towson (May 4) ... drew his first career walk in the ninth inning of the series finale against Florida State (May 8).
As a Freshman (2004): Redshirt season.
At William Penn Charter: Was a two-time All-League, All-City and Carpenter Cup All-Star selection ... batted .565 with seven home runs as a senior ... ranked as the third-best "raw power hitter" in the nation by Team One Baseball and was named a finalist for the Team One National Showcase ... tabbed as the No. 26 overall player and No. 2 first baseman in the state of Pennsylvania by Perfect Game/Baseball America ... was invited to the Mid-Atlantic Scouts Association Showcase in 2001 and 2002, the Area Code Tryout in 2002 and the Team One North Showcase in 2002 ... captain of 2002 Pennsylvania state championship team ... also lettered in football for three years.
