On Ritz: Ambidextrous attackman who came on at the end of last season, filling in for the injured Michael Phipps ... "we need him to take that step from being a first-year player to an experienced second-year player ... he could be a 20 goal scorer this year" according to Dave Cottle ... a great rider ... has a knack for creating space in front of the goal ... able to get a shot off in traffic ... unselfish player who can create opportunities for others ... has great hands and feet ... worked hard during the winter conditioning season ... enters the season on the starting attack unit with Joe Walters and his brother, Xander.

As a freshman (2005): Started his first collegiate game in 13-6 season opening win over No. 5 Georgetown (2/26) ... one shot in limited action in 9-5 win at No. 9 Towson (3/12) ... scored his first career goal in 14-10 win at No. 18 Bucknell (3/15) ... scored a goal in 11-6 loss to No. 1 Johns Hopkins (4/15) ... also picked up his first career groundball vs. the Blue Jays ... posted his first two-goal game in 9-6 win at No. 15 Fairfield (4/23) ... scored two goals, including the game winner, in just his second career start to help the Terps to a 8-7 overtime victory over No. 3 Virginia in the ACC Semifinals (4/29) ... also picked up three groundballs vs. the Cavaliers ... named to the ACC All-Tournament team following a two-goal performance in 9-5 win over No. 2 Duke (5/1) to win the ACC championship ... also picked up a career-best four groundballs vs. the Blue Devils ... scored the game-winning goal in 21-6 drubbing of Penn (5/7) at Lincoln Financial Field ... assisted Joe Walters' third goal for his first career assist in 14-10 win over No. 11 Penn State (5/14) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... set a career-high with three points on two goals and an assist in 9-8 overtime win over No. 8 Georgetown (5/22) in the NCAA Quarterfinals ... four groundballs in 18-9 loss to No. 2 Duke (5/28) in the NCAA Semifinals.

Before Maryland: Earned all-state honors as a senior ... scored 44 goals and dished out 45 assists ... 111 goals and 91 assists during his career at Radnor ... two-time all-Delco ... two-time all-Mainline and all-Suburban ... 2004 team MVP ... participated in senior all-star game ... led Radnor to a 52-12 record over three years ... also a three-year letterwinner in soccer ... scored eight goals to go along with 23 assists ... all-Delco, all-Mainline and all-Suburban for soccer.
