Maryland women third at N.Y. Armory meet
2011 OUTDOOR TRACK - Season-best in 800 of 2:15.71 at the Florida Relays... Placed 25th at ACC Outdoor in 800 (2:18.00)... Placed 7th at Maryland Invitational (2:17.90)... Member of 4x400 relay that finished 2nd at Maryland Invitational (3:49.85)... Ran 3rd leg of DMR that was 2nd in the College Section of the Penn Relays that went 11:46.27.
2011 INDOOR TRACK - Had Terps' only performance at 600 meters, going 1:41.50 at the Terrapin Invitational to place 4th... Season-best in 800 of 2:18.10 to finish 23rd at ACC Indoor... Also 2:18.14 at the N.Y. Armory... Placed 5th in 800 at Nittany Lion Challenge... Member of 4x800 relay squad that went 9:19.39 at the N.Y. Armory meet, placing 4th.
2010 INDOOR & OUTDOOR TRACK - Did not compete for Terps.
2009 OUTDOOR TRACK - Best time of the season in the 800 was 2:19.38, finishing 11th at the Shamrock Invitational... placed 11th in the 800 meters at 2:19.97 in the Maryland Invitational... was a member of the 4x800 relay team that placed first at the Shamrock Invitational at 9:04.73, Maryland's third-best time ever.
2009 INDOOR TRACK - Had season-best time of 2:23:79 at the Patriot Games, finishing 5th at 800 meters... finished 7th at the Maryland Invitational at 2:25:34 at 800 meters.
BEFORE MARYLAND - Holds East Meadow High School record for the 300m, 400m, 600m, 800m... member of the national honor society and received scholar athlete award all four years in high school... all state 600m, 800m, 4x400m, 4x800m...personal bests include 57.4 in the 400m, 1:35 in the 600m, and 2:13 in the 800m
PERSONAL - Currently enrolled in letters and sciences but intends on becoming an international business major... daughter of Rosemarie and Ted Banker...three brothers Chris, Teddy and Tommy...chose Maryland for its academic excellence and for its great coaching staff... enjoys going to the beach.
