Terps Ranked Second in LM Preseason Poll

After nearly completing a perfect season in 2013, the Maryland women's lacrosse team will enter the 2014 campaign ranked No. 2 by Lacrosse Magazine, the publication announced Tuesday.
The Terps return seven starters from its ACC championship squad a year ago which went an incredible 22-1 before bowing out in overtime of the national championship game. IWLCA First Team All-American midfielder Taylor Cummings is poised to lead Maryland as only a sophomore this season after leading the team in draws with 94.
Maryland travels to Orlando to play the US National Team in an exhibition Jan. 25 to kick off the 2014 season. The Terps battle 10 teams ranked in the LM's preseason poll.
