
Whittle Tabbed Top Incoming Freshman

BALTIMORE - Maryland freshman attacker Megan Whittle has been named the No. 1 incoming freshman in the country, as announced by Inside Lacrosse Monday afternoon.
Whittle, a 2014 McDonogh graduate, headlines the list, which also includes fellow incoming Terrapins Taylor Hensh (Marriotts Ridge) at No. 9 and Kacie Longo (South River) at No. 13.
Maryland's incoming class, which boasts five Under All-Americans - Whittle, Hensh, Longo and Steffani Holmes and Shelby Scanlin, was ranked second overall nationally.
