
Kocher Leads Terps Thru Day One at Kiawah

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - Sophomore David Kocher went even in the first round at the Kiawah Classic by Aramark Sunday at the Turtle Point Golf Club. He is currently tied for 16th.
Senior Tom Harris went one-over in round one with a 73 and is also in the top 30 in the 116 player field.
Freshman Timothy Colanta went +5 with a 77, sophomore Joe Brooks went six-over with a 78 and freshman Reilly Erhardt shot an 82.
The second round will start early Monday morning and the third round will begin Tuesday morning.
The course at Turtle Point is a par-72 that covers 7,100 yards. The teams will play one round each day. For live scoring, click here.
The Terrapins are one of 22 teams competing in the Kiawah Classic, including Charleston Southern, Winthrop, Duke, Rice, Presbyterian, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Augusta, Missouri, USC Upstate, Richmond, Louisiana Monroe, Georgia Southern, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville State, Gardner-Webb, Radford, Loyola of Maryland, Virginia, College of Charleston, and Newberry.
