
#2 Terps Return to XFINITY Friday Night

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 2 Maryland men's basketball team returns home for a game against Saint Francis (PA) on Friday night at 7 p.m. at XFINITY Center.

• Melo Trimble recorded his first career double-double on points (23) and assists (12) as Maryland picked up its first loss of the season at No. 9 North Carolina, 89-81, Tuesday night in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Rasheed Sulaimon added 18 points and Robert Carter posted 11, his seventh consecutive game in double-figures this season.
• Trimble's double-double in points and assists was the first for a Terrapin since Eric Hayes against Virginia Tech in 2008. His double-double was the second for a Terrapin this season (Jake Layman - 11pts, 11rbs vs. Rider, 11/20).
• Maryland has not lost back-to-back games since Feb. 24 and March 2, 2014 when the Terps fell to fourth-ranked Syracuse and then at Clemson in overtime. Maryland was 6-0 in games following a loss last season.
• The Terps are outscoring opponents, 292-238, in the second half of games this season, an average of nearly eight points per game. Maryland is seeking a 30th consecutive win at home against an unranked opponent Friday night when it welcomes SFU.
• Robert Carter is the lone Terrapin to post double-figure scoring in every game this season. The Terps have distributed the scoring well through seven games, with four different players recording 10 or more points per game.

• St. Francis (PA) is 3-3 on the year with wins against Westminster, American and most recently, Lehigh, on Wednesday night.
• Ben Millaud-Meuhier (13.5ppg) leads four players who average 10 or more points per game for the Red Flash. Ronnie Drinnon (7.8rpg) is the squad's top rebounder.
• Millaud-Meuhier led SFU with 18 points - including four three-pointers - in its win over Lehigh.
• Maryland is 1-0 all-time against St. Francis. The Terps defeated SFU, 75-66, on Dec. 30, 1955 in the Mid-Winter Festival at Cole Field House.
Terps Fall at #9 UNC in B1G/ACC Challenge
• Melo Trimble recorded a double-double with 23 points and a career-high 12 assists as No. 2 Maryland dropped an 89-81 decision at No. 9 North Carolina Tuesday in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
• Rasheed Sulaimon added 18 points for Maryland (6-1). Robert Carter posted double-figure scoring for the seventh consecutive contest with 11 points.
