CHICAGO – The Big Ten Conference announced on Thursday the Maryland men's basketball team's home and away opponents for the 2015-16 conference season.
The Terrapins' second Big Ten season features an exciting docket of home games, including four teams that qualified for the 2014 NCAA Tournament: Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The Terps will also play Illinois, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers at home.
Maryland will play five home-and-home series, featuring Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State, Purdue and Wisconsin. It will also face Indiana, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Nebraska on the road.
No. 16 Maryland is one of three teams ranked in the Associated Press Top-25 joining No. 5 Wisconsin and No. 24 Ohio State.
