
Lowe Takes Home B1G Player of the Week Honors

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Sophomore second baseman Brandon Lowe earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday.
Lowe was sensational in Maryland's 5-0 week, batting .522 (12-23) with eight runs scored and seven RBIs. He recorded two home runs, two triples and two doubles, and plated the tying run in the Terps' comeback win over Elon.
Lowe notched four multi-hit games and now leads the Big Ten in slugging (.691) and runs scored (31). He is second in the conference in batting average (.407), home runs (4) and on-base percentage (.532).
The Terrapins stand at 17-4 and are now No. 11 in the D1Baseball.com top-25. The Terps hit the road for a three-game series against Michigan this weekend in Ann Arbor.
