
Tendall Leads Terps Thru Day One at Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Senior Connor Tendall went even to lead the Maryland men's golf team in the first two rounds at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate at Ohio State's Scarlet Course Saturday.
Tendall went three-over in the first round, then three-under with a 68 in the second round. He is tied for ninth on the leaderboard.
Freshmen Joe Brooks and David Kocher each had strong first rounds with scores of 72 and 73. Kocher shot a 75 in the second round and Brooks shot a 76. They both ended the day six-over, with a score of 148 to tie for 36th.
Junior Tom Harris shot a 77 in each round and sophomore Victor Fox scored a 76 in the first and 78 in the second for a combined score of 154.
The Terrapins will tee-off at 8 a.m. Sunday in the third and final round.
Maryland is one of 14 teams competing, including Georgia Tech, Houston, Kent State, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oregon State, Penn State, SMU, Southern Illinois and UNLV.
The Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University Golf Club is a par-71 course that covers 7,455 yards.
