The 2015 Maryland women's lacrosse seniors capped their collegiate playing careers on a high note as they led the Terrapins to their 13th national championship last weekend.
Nicole Aust, Shanna Brady, Erin Collins, Megan Douty, Alex Fitzpatrick, Brooke Griffin, Kristen Lamon, Kelly McPartland, Casey Pepperman, Mattie Meredith and Taylor Salandra finished their Maryland careers Sunday as the Terps overcame the largest halftime deficit in NCAA title game history to defeat North Carolina, 9-8.
In their four years in College Park, the seniors have left a lasting legacy in Maryland lacrosse history. The 11 student-athletes compiled an 85-7 overall record. The seniors led the Terps to four straight conference titles, including three ACC tournament championships.
The 2015 class competed in their third straight national championship game and took home their second straight NCAA title Sunday. Individually, they've racked up numerous player of the week awards, All-American honors, conference and national player of the year awards and earned academic honors.
Nicole Aust

Shanna Brady
· Four-year starter on defense for the Terps
· Recorded first career points (1G, 1A) in 2015
· Tallied 75 ground balls, 30 draw controls and 46 caused turnovers
Erin Collins
· Two-year started and four-year contributor in the midfield
· Recorded 42 goals, 13 assists, 72 ground balls, 165 draw controls and 28 caused turnovers
Megan Douty
· Team captain
· Four-year starter as one of the top defenders in the nation
· Two-time IWLCA First Team All-American
· 2014 Tewaaraton finalist and IWLCA National Defender of the Year
· Two-time conference Defender of the Year
· Recorded 36 draw controls and 66 caused turnovers
Alex Fitzpatrick
· Starter for the Terps as a fifth-year goalkeeper
· Held a .472 career save percentage and 8.84 goals-against average
· Two-time all-conference selection
· Posted a career-low 7.02 goals-against average with the Terps
Brooke Griffin
· Team captain
· Ranks fifth in the Maryland record books with 197 career goals and sixth with 279 career points
· Two-time IWLCA First Team All-American
· 2015 Big Ten Attack Player of the Year
· Finished career on a 39-game point streak dating back to March 10, 2014
Kristen Lamon
· First attacker off the bench for Maryland with 76 career appearances
· Finished career with 63 goals, 24 assists and 25 ground balls
Kelly McPartland
· Team captain
· Four-year starter for the Terps
· Two-time NCAA All-Tournament team honoree
· 2014 IWLCA First Team All-American
· Finished career with 157 goals, 79 assists, 82 ground balls, 73 draw controls and 37 caused turnovers
Mattie Meredith
· Appeared in 40 games on attack
· Notched 11 career goals and 14 draw controls
Casey Pepperman
· Two-year starter on defense for the Terps
· 2015 All-Big Ten honoree
· Notched 18 points, 65 ground balls, 97 draw controls and 41 caused turnovers
Taylor Salandra
· Appeared in 42 games on attack
· Recorded 10 goals, two assists, seven ground balls, seven draw controls and five caused turnovers
