
Alumni Association, TCSF Host B1G Welcome

INDIANAPOLIS - The Maryland Alumni Association and the Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund hosted an exclusive conference tournament reception at the Hyatt Hotel on Thursday evening.
More than 100 Maryland supporters attended as the Voice of the Terrapins Johnny Holliday emceed the event. Maryland Director of Athletics Kevin Anderson and men's basketball coach Mark Turgeon also spoke to the crowd.
Anderson reflected on what has been a very successful start to the Terps' tenure in the Big Ten Conference. Maryland is tied for the most Big Ten titles since officially joining the league a year ago.
Turgeon provided those in attendance with an inside look at the team's preparation for the postseason and thanked the fans for their incredible support - both at home and on the road - this season.
The Terps will face Nebraska in the quarterfinals Friday at 9 pm EST on the Big Ten Network.
