COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland women's lacrosse team will honor its rich tradition and former Terps at the Alumni Celebration Day on Saturday, April 2 when the team hosts Cornell.

The Terps have won 13 national championships, starting 35 years ago with the 1981 AIAW Championship.

A pre-game tailgate open to all Maryland women's lacrosse alums will take place before your Terps take on Cornell at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex. The event will be highlighted by a halftime recognition honoring all past national champions (championship years include: 81 (A1AW), 86, 92, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 10, 14, 15).

The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. in front of the Field Hockey/Lacrosse Complex on April 2.  A catered meal and tickets to the game will be provided for all Maryland women's lacrosse alums and their families.  Don't miss out of this memorable event and the chance to cheer on your 2016 Terps!
