Seven Terps Named UWLX All-Stars

BOSTON – Seven former members of the Maryland women's lacrosse team were named United Women's Lacrosse League All-Stars following the 2016 season. Thirty players were named All-Stars by the four UWLX coaching staffs.
 
Attackers Alex Aust and Dana Dobbie, midfielders Taylor Cummings, Beth Glaros, Kelly McPartland and Katie Schwarzmann and defender Alice Mercer were named All-Stars after the inaugural UWLX season.
 
Aust, Cummings, Dobbie, Glaros and Schwarzmann competed for the Baltimore Ride while McPartland and Mercer played for the Long Island Sound.
 
McPartland and Mercer helped lead the Sound to the first-ever UWLX Championship on July 31.
 
Dobbie tied for the league lead with 29 points and 12 assists while Schwarzmann ranked sixth with 21 points.
