
Terps Land at No. 25 in AP and Coaches Poll

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – After a pair of wins against Indiana and Illinois last week, the Maryland men's basketball team returned to the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Top 25, landing at No. 25 in both polls Monday.
The Terps (16-2, 4-1 B1G) currently sit atop the Big Ten standings following their 62-56 win at Illinois on Saturday night.
Maryland, who reached the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 2003 a year ago, was ranked No. 25 in the preseason Associated Press poll and No. 21 in the preseason USA Today/Coaches poll, released in October.
The Terps travel to Iowa on Thursday in search of a fourth consecutive win.
