COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 22 Maryland men's basketball team welcomes Rutgers Tuesday for a 7 p.m. tilt at XFINITY Center.

• Melo Trimble scored 20 points and 25th-ranked Maryland outlasted Iowa 84-76 on Thursday night for its fourth straight victory to remain atop the Big Ten Conference standings.
• It was Trimble's ninth 20-plus point outing of the season. The junior guard has scored in double figures in 17 games. A total of five Terrapins scored in double figures against the Hawkeyes, including Anthony Cowan (15), Justin Jackson (12), Jaylen Brantley (10) and Damonte Dodd (10). Brantley has scored 22 points off the bench for Maryland in its last two games. Jackson added nine rebounds and six steals. Jackson's six-steal performance is the most for a Terrapin since D.J. Strawberry posted six against Notre Dame in the BB&T Classic on Dec. 3, 2006.
• With five made three point field goals at Iowa on Thursday, Melo Trimble passed Terrapin legend Walt Williams for ninth all-time in Maryland career annals with 157. He needs two made free throws to jump Adrian Branch for third all-time in career made free throws at Maryland and currently boasts 453. He is three points shy of passing former teammate and current Portland Trailblazer Jake Layman at No. 19 on Maryland's career scoring list.
• Maryland is a perfect 4-0 on the road this season and 6-0 in games away from the XFINITY Center. The Terps are shooting .489 on the road while holding opponents to a .388 field goal percentage. The play of guards Melo Trimble and Anthony Cowan have been crucial to the Terps' success on the road. The duo are averaging a combined 30.3 points and 8.25 assists per game in the Terps' four road contests.
• Since joining the Big Ten Conference, Maryland is second in the league in conference wins, behind only Wisconsin. The Terps are 31-11 while Wisconsin boasts a 32-9 record in conference play.
• With a win over Rutgers on Tuesday, Maryland will be off to its best start through 20 games since the 1998-99 campaign.
