COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland will play the third leg of its four-game home stand Saturday when the Terps host Bucknell at 8:30 pm at the XFINITY Center.

storylines

• Maryland leads the all-time series between the two schools 7-0 since the teams first met during the 1976-77 season. The Terps knocked off the Bison 81-52 when the teams last met on November 14, 2008 at the XFINITY Center. • Anthony Cowan Jr. had 25 points and 10 rebounds, both career highs, and Maryland used a strong shooting performance (57.4%) to beat Butler 79-65 Wednesday night.

• Cowan Jr. became the first Terp to finish with at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a game since Greivis Vasquez posted a triple double (35 points, 11 rebounds 10 assists) vs. North Carolina on February 21, 2009.

• Maryland started off its 2017-18 campaign with a pair of victories over Stony Brook (76-61) and UMES (96-43) last weekend.

• Sophomore forward Justin Jackson tallied his third career double-double against the Seawolves, finishing with 11 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Jackson was named to the Naismith Trophy Watch list on Thursday, November 9.

• Maryland went 13-5 in home games last season, including a 10-1 mark in non-conference home games. Mark Turgeon's Terrapins have gone 29-2 in non-conference home games since the 2014-15 season.

• Maryland received 20 votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll and two votes in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll released on October 22 and November 13 (respectively).

• The A.J. Francis Canned Food Drive will begin collection on Saturday prior to the game. All fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to gates A, B and E.
