COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Nadine Hadnagy was selected as ILWomen's National Defender of the Year on Tuesday.
A 2017 Tewaaraton Award finalist, Hadnagy helped lead Maryland to a 23-0 record and the NCAA Championship as a senior co-captain.
The Farmingdale, N.Y., native was also named the IWLCA National Defender of the Year and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. She was selected to the All-Big Ten and Big Ten All-Tournament teams and was named an IWLCA First Team All-American.
On Monday, Zoe Stukenberg was named ILWomen's National Midfielder of the Year.
