Maryland Finishes Third at Janney VCU Shootout

Terps Wrap-Up at Stitch Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Maryland men's golf team wrapped up at the Stitch Intercollegiate Sunday at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Raleigh, N.C.

Sophomore Peter Knade led the Terps and tied for 20th in the individual standings. He earned a score of 214 (69-74-71), which was two strokes under par.

Senior David Kocher earned a score of 218 (74-68-76), which was two strokes over. He tied for 36th.

Sophomore Evan Santa shot a 222 (75-70-77), which was +6. Junior Reilly Erhardt earned a score of 225 (79-70-76), and junior Timothy Colanta shot a 227 (75-77-75).

As a team, the Terrapins earned an overall score of 873 (293-282-298), which was nine strokes over. They finished ninth out of 12 teams.

Maryland will compete in the Big Ten Tournament April 27-29 at the Five Farms Golf Course at Baltimore Country Club.
