COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland baseball team scored a season-high 16 runs to roll past William & Mary, 16-10, at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium Tuesday afternoon.
From the Field
"I loved out at bats from the first inning. We were getting punched in the mouth last week because we were being passive. I really loved the way we were competing at the plate even when we were down. All we've talked about for the last week is playing with passion and energy. The boys had a good weekend and played really hard, and I thought they did that again today. The way they attacked the game was great." – Rob Vaughn
