Monday's matchup is the eighth all-time between Maryland and Indiana. The Terps have won all seven previous meetings. Last year, they won 76-56 in Bloomington on Jan. 27 behind 25 points from
Kaila Charles and 20 from
Stephanie Jones.
Last time out, the Terrapins overcame a slow start to beat Nebraska, 87-69, Thursday night at the XFINITY Center.

The Terrapins are No. 3 in the country in steals (13.8). They are in the top 10 in the nation in scoring margin (+25.9), turnover margin (+8.6), offensive rebounds (16.5) and scoring (81.9). Charles is second in the Big Ten and is 16th in the country in offensive rebounds (4.2). Watson is second in the league and 14th in the nation in steals (3.3).
Kaila Charles currently has 1,773 career points and 833 career rebounds. She is one of just six Terrapins to be in the top 10 in the Maryland record books in scoring and rebounds, joining Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones, Marissa Coleman, Vicky Bullett and Crystal Langhorne.
Blair Watson has made 179 career threes. She recently moved to fourth on Maryland's all-time list and is seven threes from tying
Kristen Confroy at No. 3.
Charles has started in all 120 games of her career. She has a chance to break Alyssa Thomas' record of 135 career games started. Her 120 career games started are tied with Brionna Jones for fifth in Maryland's record book.
