Schedule Update: Maryland to Face James Madison Saturday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland men's basketball team will travel to play James Madison Sat., Dec. 5, at 3:00 pm in Harrisonburg, Va. The game will be available on NBC Sports Washington.
The game was added as a replacement for Maryland's previously scheduled game against Towson on Dec. 1, which was canceled Monday afternoon due to a positive Covid-19 test in the Towson program.
Maryland and James Madison have met just one time in history, when the Terps defeated the Dukes, 90-76, on Jan. 28, 1987 in Harrisonburg. Maryland legend Derrick Lewis famously recorded the first triple-double in program history that night, posting 29 points, 23 rebounds and 12 blocks.
The Terps are off to a 3-0 start this season and received nine votes in this week's AP top-25.
