Terps Fall to Pitt and Clemson in Day Two of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge

CLEMSON, S.C. -- Maryland dropped a pair of games at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Saturday as the Terps fell to Pittsburgh, 8-5 and the host Tigers, 21-2.
Down 5-0 before getting a chance to bat, the Terps scored the next four runs to cut their deficit to one at 5-4.
Gracie Voulgaris smacked a solo home run to tie the game at 5-5 in the third.The Panthers went on to score another three runs.
Voulgaris led the way, going 2-for-3 at the plate, scoring two runs including the Terps' first homer of the season.
Amada Brashear, Regan Kerr, and Taylor Okada all scored runs in the contest.
Maryland suffered a 21-2 loss to Clemson in its second game of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Saturday.
Anna Kufta went 2-for-3 at the plate, while Okada, Taylor Wilson and Taylor Liguori all notched one hit a piece.
Maryland will return to Clemson Softball Stadium on Sunday, for the final day of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge when the Terps take on Pitt at 10 a.m.
