Stephanie Jones was named Big Ten Player of the Week Monday for her first career weekly honor. Jones led Maryland to two dominant wins and first place atop the league standings this past week. She led the Terrapins with 18.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and shot 89.5 percent from the field on the week (17-for-19).

Wednesday's matchup is the eighth all-time between the Badgers (11-15, 3-12) and the Terrapins. Maryland is 7-0 vs. Wisconsin and 3-0 at the Kohl Center. Last year, the Terrapins beat the Badgers, 80-66, in College Park on Jan. 31.

Last time out, Maryland outscored Penn State by 36 in the second half to win 106-69 in State College on Sunday. Jones led six Terps in double figures with a season-high 21 points and 11 boards.

Taylor Mikesell each pitched in 11 points. The Terps led 46-45 at halftime, then won the second half 60-24.

Charles currently has 1,918 career points and 900 career rebounds. She needs 10 points to tie Brionna Jones and Vicky Bullett for No. 6 on Maryland's all-time scoring list with 1,928 career points.
Blair Watson recently passed Shatori Walker-Kimbrough with 187 career threes made. Watson is No. 3 on Maryland's all-time list. Austin is at 493 career rebounds. Mikesell's career three-point field goal percentage of 41.4 percent is No. 2 in program history.

Charles is averaging 17.1 points and 8.5 rebounds in the Terrapins' 14 conference games. Those numbers are up from her season averages of 15.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
