TOLEDO, Ohio – The Maryland Gymnastics team earned fifth place at the Elevate the Stage Meet with a final score of 195.325. Maryland earned a season-best floor score of 49.300. Five gymnasts earned career highs across all events.

Maryland earned a 49.300 team score on floor, the highest of the season.
Other team scores: Vault: 49.175 // Bars: 48.525 // Beam: 48.325
The Terps came in fifth place out of five.
Final Scores: Michigan – 197.950 // Minnesota – 196.650 // Penn State – 196. 125 // Michigan State – 195.975

New Heights

Three Terps earned career-highs on vault: Jr. Randi Morris (9.825), Fr. Emma Silberman (9.850), Fr. Aleka Tsiknias (9.900)
Sr. Tiara Wright landed third on podium for her 9.925 bar routine.
Newcomer So. Leksana Andrews earned a 9.575 in her first collegiate beam routine
Morris and Silberman each earned a career-high 9.850 and 9.875, respectively. Fr. Reese McClure matched her career high 9.900.

Coach's Comments

"I'm proud of the way this team rallied after the first rotation. While it's not the result we were looking for, the team dug deep and pulled out a solid score on the road.
"The freshmen are having fun and it's contagious. They went out tonight and hit some of their best routines this year and got this team fired up.
