AUSTIN, Texas -- Grace Voulgaris went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs as the Maryland softball team fell to Lamar, 7-6, Saturday afternoon. 

Maryland outhit Lamar 9-5, creating a momentum swing  that fueled a five-run comeback in the fourth and fifth innings. Taylor Liguori and  Voulgaris notched 2 hits a piece, while five others contributed one hit.

Tied 5-5 in the top of the sixth, Voulgaris stepped to the plate and doubled to center field bringing Regan Kerr on to take a 6-5 lead late in the game. Voulgaris'three RBI's were a season-high

Up 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth, Lamar's catcher, Hannah Carpenter hit the lone home run in the afternoon that drove in two scores to take back the lead. 

The Terps were unable to score in the top of the seventh, resulting in a 7-6 loss to Lamar. 

Maryland returns to McCombs Field at 7 p.m. EST to face off against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in its final game at the Texas Classic.
