The Maryland women's lacrosse program welcomes seven new players to the fold as part of its 2020 freshman class as the Terps work towards their 2021 season. Over the next several weeks, umterps.com will get to know each of the seven newcomers beginning this week with attacker Avery Jaffe.
Jaffe hails from Moorestown, NJ and helped lead Moorestown HS to three consecutive state championships from 2017-19. The attacker was a three-time Under Armour All-American.

Why did you choose Maryland?
I chose Maryland because of the amazing student life and academics. I love how family oriented the lacrosse program is, and how much our coaches care about every single player.
