WISCONSIN STORYLINES

HISTORY MADE
  • The Terps made history Saturday afternoon at Minnesota when it became the first team in program history to collect three road victories against ranked teams. • Maryland held Minnesota to 49 points and 30.4-percent shooting Saturday afternoon. It was the second-lowest point total for a Big Ten opponent since the Terps joined the league in 2014-15 (at Nebraska, 60-45, 2/16/19). It was also the lowest shooting percentage in a conference game for an opponent since the same Nebraska game (.211).

SEEKING A SWEEP
  • Maryland was victorious earlier this season when it defeated Wisconsin, 70-64, in Madison on Dec. 28. The win snapped Wisconsin's 15-game home winning streak and a stretch of 10 straight conference wins. Trailing by four points at the half, the Terps stormed back by shooting 64-percent in the second half. Eric Ayala led the charge, scoring all 17 of his points in the second frame.
