College Park, MD -- Sam Csire's 20 kills and a pair of big scoring runs allowed Maryland (16-5, 4-5 Big Ten) to sweep Rutgers (8-12, 0-9 B1G), 25-23, 25-22, 25-20.
The Terps took the first set thanks to a steady attack led by Csire's four kills, and
Hannah Thompson's two kill, two block effort. The second set was another Maryland win that saw the Terps end on a 15-5 run for a commanding 2-0 lead. The third and final set saw Maryland once again rally from a multi-point deficit as they ended the match on a 9-2 run, securing the win.

Filling The Statsheet
- Csire's 20 kills were a match-high and is a career-high in conference play. Her previous career-high came this season against Penn State (18). It's her second 20-kill match of the season after recording 26 kills against Temple on September 3 in five sets.Â
- Sydney Dowler once again led the team in assists with 36.
- Freshman Libero Milan Gomillion recorded her first career kill in the first set.Â
- Gomillion also led the team with 15 digs, with Csire and Paula Neciporuka recording 10 and nine, respectively.Â
