Tennis Terps Wrap Up Roberta Alison Classic

TUSCALOOSA, AL - Newcomers Mary Brumfield and Marta Perez Mur wrapped up the fall season for the Terps competing in the Roberta Alison Classic. As a doubles team, the pair faced Katie Andreini and Charlotte Cartledge from Virginia Tech, falling in a tight battle 4-6. Brumfield competed against Tulane's Lahari Yelamanchii, ultimately being defeated 2-6, 4-6. Perez Mur had a successful outing for Maryland, defeating Mackenzie Clark of Tulane, fighting off two match points to clinch the match 6-4, 4-6, 11-9. The rest of play for the weekend was then suspended due to rain.
