CHAMPAIGN, IL -- The Maryland volleyball dropped a 3-0 decision on Sunday afternoon to No. 24 Illinois. The Terps (19-11, 7-11 Big Ten), couldn't find their footing and their only lead came when they scored the opening point of the first set.
Sam Csire led the Terps in kills with 11 to go along with six digs and a block.
Paula Neciporuka finished the match with nine kills, a service ace, and a team-high 11 digs.
Sydney Dowler finished with 23 assists and
Rainelle Jones finished with three blocks.
No. 24 Illinois moves to 19-10 and 11-7 in Big Ten play on the season.
