
Tennis to Take On Michigan State and Michigan

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's tennis team will face Michigan State followed by a match against No. 15 Michigan at home in the Junior Tennis Champions Center.
The Terps (0-6) will first take on Michigan State (3-6) on Friday, March 12 at 10:30 AM. This marks the second matchup between the two teams this season, with the Spartans taking the first match 3-4. Sophomore No. 89 Ayana Akli (5-1) and senior Eva Alexandrova notched their first singles win for Maryland at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively.
Maryland will then face No. 15 Michigan on Sunday, March 14 at noon. The Wolverines bring in a ranked player of their own. No. 71 Andrea Cerdan.
Cerdan defeated freshman Minorka Miranda in the last matchup 4-6, 2-6 at the No. 3 spot.
