Women's Tennis Defeats Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Maryland women's tennis team took down the Indiana Hoosiers 4-3 on Sunday to secure their first win of the season.
Sophomore No. 29 Ayana Akli and senior No. 84 Eva Alexandrova remain undefeated as a doubles pair, and Adela Josefova along with partner Minorka Miranda took their first win in doubles to put the Terps up 1-0.
Akli, Zoe Kulkarni and Ebony Sampson put up points for Maryland at the No. 1, 4 and 6 spots to put the Terps over the edge and take the win.

Maryland will face Nebraska at home on April 9 at 10:00 a.m.

- No. 6: Ebony Sampson got the win for Maryland with her first singles victory of the season, defeatinf Bernard 7-6, 6-4
