Women's Tennis to Face Minnesota and Wisconsin

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland women's tennis team is set to face Minnesota and Wisconsin on the road this weekend.
The Terps (0-4) will first compete against the Minnesota Gophers (0-5) on Friday, March 5 at 4 p.m. in the Baseline Tennis Center. Maryland is 2-3 all time against Minnesota, making this the sixth matchup between the two teams.
Wisconsin will be the next match up for the Terps on Sunday, March 7 at 11 a.m. in the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Sophomore No. 89 Ayana Akli and senior Eva Alexandrova look to continue their winning streaks in singles, each remaining undefeated (4-0) at the No.1 and No. 2 spots, respectively. Akli most recently nabbed her second Big Ten Athelete of the Week recognition on Feb. 23.
