
Koras Records Hole-In-One at Rutherford Intercollegiate

STATE COLLEGE, PA. - Junior Will Koras recorded a hole-in-one in his third round of play in the Rutherford Intercollegiate on Sunday, the first for Koras in a tournament at Maryland. As a whole, the Terps finished in fifth place with a final score of 863 (289, 287, 287), their second top-five finish of the season.
Koras had a phenomenal day as a Terp, notching an ace on the 17th hole and coming in tied at ninth overall with a final score of 213 (69, 74, 70), right on par for the weekend. Koras also finished second out of all individuals in par 3 scoring with a 2.92 average, and 10th in par 4 scoring.
Fellow Terp Dillon Brown also finished tied for ninth with his score of 213 (70, 71, 72). Brown finished third amongst individuals in total birdies with a team high of 12, fifth in par 4 scoring (3.94), and 10th on par 5 holes (4.56).
Austin Barbin tied for 16th after the final round, with a score of 217 (74, 69, 74) on the weekend. Barbin notched 10 birdies throughout his rounds (second highest on the team as well as fifth highest in the tournament), and came in 12th overall for par 3 scoring (3.08).
Christian Park finished tied for 30th with his score of 220, (76, 73, 71), and Dhaivat Pandya rounded out the weekend for the Terps tied for 67th at 234 (82, 76, 76).

The Golf Terps will head to Columbus, Ohio, to compete in the Keppler Invite April 24-25.
