COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland softball (11-17) will take on the Penn State Nittany Lions (4-19) this weekend for a four game series, April 23-25.

The Terps will head into the series most recently taking on the No. 22 Michigan Wolverines. Maryland fell in the series, but managed to put up hits against two of the toughest pitchers in the country, including a homer by Regan Kerr; just the second against Michigan's Meghan Beaubien this season.

Penn State currently leads Maryland 18-9 in all-time series, but the Terps took their last meeting 5-4 back in 2019 (04/21). As a team, Maryland ranks seventh in the conference overall in batting (.244), with freshman Jaeda McFarland ranking first overall in triples (4, 14th in the nation), eighth in fielding, and 25th in batting (.322).
