COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland baseball team defeated Purdue, 7-2, to sweep the three-game weekend series against the Boilermakers at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Sean Burke tossed six innings of two-run ball to earn his third win of the season,
Elliot Zoellner tossed three one-hit innings out of the bullpen, and the Terps got multiple hits out of four batters in the lineup (

- Maryland swept its third consecutive series at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium with a three-game sweep of Purdue this weekend, The Terps had previously swept Ohio State and Minnesota in its last home series.
