Terps Set to Host Rutgers on Big Ten Network

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Wrestling program is set to host No.26 Rutgers at 2:00 PM on February 4, 2023 at XFINITY Center Pavilion nationally televised on Big Ten Network.
Maryland hits the mat next week on October 27 for the team's annual Red-Black exhibition.
They officially start the 2022-23 season hosting Bloomsburg, American, and Duke on November 5 before heading to Kansas City for the Tiger Style Invite.
Maryland faces Pitt, Army, and Navy to close out the year before starting 2023 with the Southern Scuffle. In February, the Terps will face Binghamton and Columbia.
Highlights from last season included Kyle Cochran winning the Southern Scuffle Title, Dom Solis and Cochran earning places on the Big Ten podium, and sending that pair, plus Jaron Smith, to the NCAA Championships.
This past summer featured the rise of Jaxon Smith as he dominated on the freestyle scene. Smith won the US Open, Pan-Am Title, and took fifth at the U20 World Championships.
Postseason action kicks-off March 4-5 at the Big Ten Championships in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The NCAA Championships will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at BOK Center from March 16-18.
