COLLEGE PARK, MD - After just over a week off, the No. 23 Maryland men's basketball team returns to action on Thursday night as Saint Peter's visits the XFINITY Center for a 6:30 p.m. tip off. The Terps enter this week at No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and are the top team receiving votes in the AP Top 25 Poll. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network, while fans can also listen to the Maryland Sports Network (105.7 FM - Baltimore, The TEAM 980 AM - Washington, D.C., One Maryland App) with Voice of the Terrapins Johnny Holliday (play-by-play), Chris Knoche (analyst), and Walt Williams (analyst) calling the action.

The Terps have lost three straight entering the Saint Peter's game after playing three ranked teams in a 12 day span. Maryland fell to No. 7 Tennessee and No. 16 UCLA last week. Two of Maryland's losses have come by an average of four points against Wisconsin (now No. 17 in the AP Poll) and Tennessee (now No. 8 in the AP Poll). Maryland jumped as high as No. 13 in the AP Poll after starting the year 8-1 which included its win over No. 16 Illinois to open Big Ten play. The stretch of games marked just the fourth time in program history where the Terps have played three ranked teams in such a close stretch during the November/December portion of the season.

The Terps also enter Thursday's game at No. 35 in the current NCAA NET rankings. Maryland has a Quad 1 win (Illinois) and two Quad 2 wins (Miami, Saint Louis). A total of 13 games for Maryland are currently Quad 1.
