COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland tennis team (12-1) defeated the UPenn Quakers in a nail biter 4-3 win Tuesday afternoon for its tenth win in a row. The Terps won two of the doubles matches and three of the singles matches.
Coach
Katie Dougherty said
"I'm very happy with how we competed today. We knew coming into the match that the doubles point would be critical. Penn has a lot of talent in their singles line-up and compete well. Kallista got us on the board early and Mino did a great job closing out her match. Proud of Jojo and how she competed today in her first singles match back after injury. We were a tough and resilient team today and proud of our effort."
