Maryland Softball to Face Penn State in Conference Opener

COLLEGE PARK, MD - Maryland Softball will head to State College, PA, to compete in a three-game series against the Nittany Lions to officially open up Big Ten play in the 2022 season. All three games will be streamed on BTN+.
The Terps come off hosting the Capital City Classic at home in College Park, going 3-2 on the weekend, defeating North Dakota State University, Monmouth, and Binghamton. Maryland's win over NDSU on Sunday marked head coach Mark Montgomery's 600th win as a head coach, and his 44th at Maryland.
