Geppert Named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland lacrosse LSM John Geppert has been named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
In Sunday night's 17-9 victory over No.4 Rutgers, Geppert played a key role limiting the Scarlet Knights to only nine goals. Geppert picked-up five groundballs on the night.
This is Geppert's first honor the season and fourth of his career. He last won the award on April 27, 2021.
